Comments:
- Sustagen Sport is a compact energy and nutrient supplement for a high energy diet. It is high in protein, carbohydrates, calcium, and iron and low in fat.
- Instructions are to make with water or low-fat milk depending on taste, however energy, protein and carbohydrate content are good regardless.
- Powder dissolves quickly in both water and milk and is pleasant tasting.
- Can be digested more quickly then a food snack and will reduce stomach discomfort and help increase fluid intake.
Suitable for:
- Athletes to use as part of a high energy training diet to provide additional protein, iron and energy to maximize recovery between training sessions.
- Can be used by athletes as a snack or liquid meal supplement for pre- and/or post competition meal.
- Used as a supplement when lack of appetite (due to nerves or having to eat close to start of event) or when travelling.
- Athletes with restricted energy intakes should use this product with care. Real food choices may be a more appropriate alternative in some situations.
