 Dietetic and Nutrition students interested in sports nutrition Currently studying any university degree related to dietetics or nutrition in Australia or New Zealand (fulltime) FREE membership to all students enrolled in an accredited dietetics or nutrition degree in Australia or New Zealand.

Associate Member (incl. International)

 Associate Member (incl. International)

Dietitians starting out on their sports nutrition career 

Experienced dietitians who do not specialise in sports but wish to be informed in the area of sports nutrition as a tool for working with occasional athletes and/or the non-athletic population 

Dietitians located outside of Australia or New Zealand
  • Qualifications in Dietetics
  • If Australia, eligible for full membership or current APD with DA (or member of local dietetic association if overseas)

Provisional Sports Dietitian

Graduates of SDA’s 4-day Sports Nutrition Course

On the pathway to becoming an Accredited Sports Dietitian through logging of SDA CDP points

Accredited Sports Dietitian

Graduates of SDA’s Sports Nutrition Course and successfully logged 250 SDA CDP points.

Recognition by NSO’s and sporting leagues as qualified in the practice of sports nutrition

Advanced Sports Dietitian

 Accredited Sports Dietitians with significant experience in sports nutrition $275.00

Fellow (Research or Education)

 Fellowships are awarded to sports dietitians who have achieved markers of excellence in sports nutrition practice, as well as service to SDA. Interested applicants must submit an application and supporting material. Please contact us for more information or an application pack. $275.00
