Managing gastrointestinal issues in athletes —An educational workshop for athlete support practitioners (Face to Face Learning)

This educational workshop aims to provide sport and exercise practitioners with the underlying knowledge and skills to support athletes presenting acute or recurrent episodes of GIS during and after exercise. This workshop includes primary material, translation to practice, and an educational activity to assess learning.

The workshop will be facilitated by Ricardo Costa at Monash University, and an online version of the workshop is also available for those who cannot attend in person.

Details as follows 

  • Friday 14th November (and Saturday 15th if required)
  • 9am to 5pm (8:30am welcome and refreshments)
  • Held at Monash University, BASE Facility, Melbourne
  • $500 online and $650 F2F with lab practical
  • Max 10 per session
  • 50 CPD points

We are hosting an in-person workshop in Melbourne before the SDA conference, making it convenient for those already travelling for the event. If the sessions for Friday is fully booked, we will open additional spots for Saturday.
