Chris is a highly qualified and experienced Accredited Sports Dietitian (AccSD) and Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) with a diverse portfolio and extensive knowledge and skills in the nutritional management of a range of conditions including diabetes, gastroenterology, and oncology as well as sports nutrition.
Chris has worked in private practice, for not-for-profits (Diabetes NSW & ACT), Government (Department of Defence, Science and Technology), hospital and high performance sport (Australian Institute of Sport, Volleyball Australia)
Chris has a keen interest in exercise nutrition for people living with type 1 diabetes. He is only a few Accredited Sports Dietitians with both clinical and exercise nutrition expertise that can help active Australians living with type 1 diabetes understand how their body responds to exercise, exercise safely and, improve their performance.
Chris also has experience working with athletes in Weightlifting; Crossfit; Combat Sports; Aquatic Sports (Swimming/Diving/Waterpolo); Men’s Gymnastics; Tennis; Athletics; Volleyball.
Chris currently practices out of Olympic Park Sports Medicine Centre (OPSMC) in Melbourne one day a week (Face to Face & Telehealth) in addition to a part-time clinical caseload within Healthscope private hospitals.
